What is Club Soccer?
Club soccer-sometimes called select soccer—is a step above recreational leagues. It offers players advanced training, professional coaching, and the opportunity to compete at higher levels. Teams are formed through tryouts, and players commit to a year-round schedule that often includes travel to regional or national tournaments. The focus is on player growth, skill development, and preparing athletes for the next level of play.

Your soccer journey starts here. Our teams compete in the Kentucky Select Soccer League and the Kentucky Premier League.
Academy soccer is where your child's Select soccer journey begins. Designed for young, developing players-typically ages 5 to 9 depending on birth year-Academy soccer places a strong emphasis on building individual technical skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Select soccer is for soccer players ages 9-19 who want higher level instruction and who desire a more competitive environment with other players that share the same goals. FC Kentucky makes every effort to balance schedules so players can play for both FC and local school programs.
FC Kentucky believes in the power of technical training. It gives young players the tools to enjoy the game and grow with it. Core skills like dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting are the building blocks of soccer. When developed early, these fundamentals build confidence, keep kids engaged, and prepare them for the faster, more competitive levels ahead.

At FC Kentucky, we are committed to delivering a high-quality, development-focused soccer experience. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we prioritize affordability and transparency, ensuring that every dollar goes toward player development, coaching, facilities, and competition.
FC understands the costs of competitive soccer and strives to keep those costs as low as possible.
